Cobra Project Begins

In November of 2006, My father and I decided to build a car of our own. We considered both Hot-rods and Cobras. We had been intrigued by the Factory Five component cars and started heading down that path. A friend of mine at work had an 88 mustang with a 5.0 and a five speed. The Mustang was not worth restoring, but the odometer read only 78,000 miles. The motor and transmission ran well. I struck a deal with my friend and drove the mustang home.
My parents went off to their winter home in Florida in December. I February of 2007, a card came in the mail from Factory Five advertising a special deal that added 2k of accessories for the car if you purchase the vehicle by April 1st. Calls were made with my father in Florda and we agreed to go ahead with it!. We made the order and made arrangemetns for delivery. In Early May we travelled to Wareham, MA from Warren, Ohio to pick up our project.
